I posted it here because it's Colorado. My point is that Colorado reviews have dropped off sharply lately and that we don't use the Colorado Forum very much.

Now that's more specific(Colorado reviews). The way it sounded and I interpreted it was EMP.com as a whole.

whats the other site you use? If it is RubMaps you are being misled by a bunch of fake reviews and bullshit. I used it a couple of times and was disappointed both times. Went to a place someone reviewed as full service and it turned out to be a legitimate nail shop with a bunch of old ladies looking at me strangely, and chased me out cause I asked for a hj.

Reviews from all the sites have to be taken lightly. Most are legit. It's pretty easy to spot the "Engrish" owner-promoted reviews. It's not as easy to spot the angry boyfriend who wants his girlfriend provider to look bad, or set her up for a LE raid. Or, for a competitor to write a bad fake review.

If you see a review that says a place is FS and there are lots of reviews that say otherwise, it's probably fake. You know the general rule - the Chinese places are mostly HE and the Korean ones that tend to be FS. The Latina ones tend to be really pricy. The Thai ones tend to be totally legit.

I use RubMaps.com, this web site is to expensive.

As far as reviews, it doesn't matter where you read them, a lot are fake and full of fantasies. One example is a review done of a close friend of mine. We have dated off and on for 5 years, I know her very well and the most recent review done on her is so full of crap and untrue that it stinks.....it is a fantasy written by a freak. So take a lot of these reviews with a grain of salt so to speak.

Places where others have gotten shot down, I total success to include FS, some places I get shot down, depends on the provider, the person going in for the massage, time of day, many factors.

Consistency in reviews is one of the main keys for a successfull hobby .

I quit my membership to Rubmaps this month. I checked and there were close to 50 reviews in just the Denver Metro Area. Sometimes, there would be 6 or more in just one day. Pretty much all fake. I think the Rubmaps management is actually the ones seeding their site with tons of bogus reviews.

So, I'll stick by this site, even though the number of reviews has dwindled. At least they are more likely to be real.

Southern Illinois subscriber here. I've noticed the drop-off in reviews, posts, and Forum posts, too. I try to post something once-in-awhile, but I've gotten to the point where I only visit about 3 or 4 AMPs lately. I don't want to post about the same ones all of the time...too redundant. I might hit a place if I'm on vacation or a long road trip.
I am just guessing that the economy has cut down on the number of visits to the AMPs, I know several providers have told me that business is way down. I think many more read reviews than contribute their own experiences. I was a member probably 3 years before I posted a review...I had been a member and let it lapse, before I re-joined and finally posted. I didn't post in the Forum for a long time...sometimes it looks as tho only a relatively few of us try to get a discussion going.

I agree. It's probably due to the economy and fear of LE watching the reviews. My pet peeve is not with this site, but with Rubmaps for posting almost nothing but suspected fake reviews. There are close to 50 reviews in the Denver area in the month of October and nearly all of them are likely fake. It's not worth paying a monthly fee to read fake reviews. If you need to find out where the AMPs are, it's as simple as checking Craigslist or Backpage.

This site may not have many reviews, but at least they are not fake.

You are quite possibly right about fake reviews but I have used rubmaps and have received the services and fees listed in the reviews. I never decide by one review but take the time to read all for a particular AMP for previous 4 - 6 months. I have however, walked out of a few establishments when the "Beautiful" 30-35 provider is obviously drawing social security.
