Maui or Oahu

I'm planning a trip to Hawaii and am deciding between Maui or Oahu. I'm wondering when it comes to hobbying where I'll have a better time. We have it pretty good here in California, hoping to have just as much fun there. Any advice is appreciated.

Way better in Oahu -- much much more variety and not so uptight LE

Looks like I'm staying in Waikiki. I'll be checking the reviews, but if you have any advice on a few of the best places to go I'd appreciate it. Also if there are certain girls that are really great that's nice to know as well. Normally I would just rely on reviews, but since this is a vacation I want every minute of it to count. PM me if possible.
