Well, the article didn't definitively say if the death was from natural causes or from suicide. I've got a bad feeling it's the latter, though. Just why and when does pride become more important than life?

Sorry but I have zero sympathy for people who commit sucide.
Here's why : if you have the balls to kill yourself then you have the balls to do what you need to do.
Part of me believes this is more a case of escaping dishonor & embarrassment.

I doubt that spa owners who run these type of bussinesses are used to the charges, and usually plea them down and move out and start over else where.

This was likely more about him leaving some insurance money to family since both he and his wife were facing jail time and loss of income.

Many Asians (and others too) have been known to commit suicide for the ins. money.

I thought insurance policies typically don't pay out when it comes to suicide.

After 2 years of coverage with the insurance company they will pay out. Before then, no.

im sure it had to do with dishonoring his family etc.
i just went with a short answer for once.
But if that was the case he never should have allowed his wife to participate in it. Its bad enough he did....IMO he should have put his foot down when it came to his wife. Possibly he needed his wife to work as well to make extra income to pay bills. said.. sit to be in..
