That's my issue. It's a free market more power to them. Obviously there is a market I think they have been around a while and change locations. You have more insight than me as to the cut. But basically paying 100.00 plus to rent room for an hour. There are better options IMO. I have always tried to make as much go to the provider. They do the work and have the risk. to each their own I guess.

i dont have to pay for advertising i have control over who i see vs working for a typical parlor.
sometimes u get what u pay for. the majority of places that charge 200 an hr all the girls working their are crack head alcoholics always steel eachother clients make rumors etc. i dont have time or patience for places like this.
ive said it before i work indy and i work at a 200 an hr place and im happy where im at .
no druggies drama girls mean boss no crappy clients. we also are not required to do any HJ (hand jobs), BJ (blowjobs) and FS (full service). There may be limits on how much service management will allow.">extras. we have been around for years with a high clientele. i couldnt be any happier. i get more returns working in my boss place than working indy.seems to be clients are more loyal to a business vs indy?

id say it reminds people its a service their not indy workers their employees/contractors and it is nice to tip. i think less people are tipping because of the economy. i do kind of think a person should tip if going to a business i thought its a common scene. as an indy i never expect to be tipped. and i am surprised when i am. even as a contractor i never ask but its always nice..

Nobody should be tippinig less because of the economy. The service has not diminished so neitehr should the amount the girl receives for the service.

You can't go into the auto mechanic and say "Man, I really can't afford that 100.00 repair, here is 60.00 instead" and get away with it. Nor can you go the barber shop and decide you will pay less because the economy is tight.

If you can't afford the services do not go until you can. No one should be reducing their tip using the ecomomy as an excuse. The economy is not so bad if you can still afford a massage with a happy ending. The economy is bad when you can't pay rent or buy food or put gas in your car. If you still have cash for 'entertainment' STFU about the economy.

Im not sure why if its not the economy.
some will not tip if they do not get a happy ending even if they get a good massage.

the other day a girl i work with did a good massage the guy was happy. she politely said if he like her massage he could tip her if he wanted.
he told her ...... the massage was good but no happy ending so why would i tip you.

That sort of stuff has been happening for quite a while now. The pizza job I work at, the drivers get paid minimum plus mileage plus tips, and for a time we got to enjoy vacation pay and 401(k)s. The economy tanked and we lost those perks. There's still talk about changing us from minimum to tip wages. And a regional supervisor who had been with the franchise for a good thirty years was given the choice of a demotion to store manager (and less pay) or he'd have to find a new job.

When I worked in the Twin Cities, after the company completed a reorganization with the bank, the top five dogs of the company gave themselves an average of a 30% raise plus bonuses of a million-plus. Two months later, the workers were given an average of a 1% raise, and a month after that, four dozen of us were laid off. Never mind that, up until that point, scores of us were working fewer hours and cashing in our vacation pay (per the management's requests) to help keep the company solvent.

In Atlanta, my brother's work week went from 40-45 hours/week to 32-35.

And a buddy of mine in the Cities has taken two pay cuts (that I know of) to keep his job and to help keep his company solvent.

A lot of companies have been tightening their belts -- around the necks of the workers. V, trust me, if we could afford to walk, we would, but unfortunately not now, not the way the economy is.
