I'm a long time hobbyist from the Florida area and have sampled around our nation and once or twice outside of it

TER works well enough for me but I tend mostly to go for the massage-with-benefits route more than the full service side. I figured I'd pop the membership dues for VIP to see if anything was going on here but it still looks verrry quiet.

Is there another way to get deeper into the local massage conversation here? or wondering should I just let my membership expire?

I think you're doing the right things..it's just slowed way down here whether it's reviews, comments, forum posts.
Some think EMP is going the way of the dinosaur so I'd guess many are holding off on joining or renewing but...who knows as I sure don't.

I think hobbyists are discovering that this is not a tag team sport; it's a solo pursuit, enhanced by the experience of discovery and living an adventure which is of your making.

For me it's all in the hunt and the unknown..the thrill of victory/HJ (hand jobs), BJ (blowjobs) and FS (full service). There may be limits on how much service management will allow.">extras and the agony of defeat/DIY or nothing.

Of course I always welcome good advice or recommendations from known brother mongers .

Myself, I think the economy has alot to do with the downturn in reviews and Forum postings. I live in a small mid-western town, so for me to visit an AMP is a somewhat major undertaking. There is one about an hour away, another one I've just found out about (by accident) about an hour and a half away, and several more (maybe 10) about two and a half hours away.
I really hate to post reviews of the same AMP over and over...even when they get new providers, unless something really unusual occurs...then I'm nervous about tipping off LE. I don't know if there are many members that are on here and read the reviews, but not post there own. I have had a newer member from a nearby town pm'ed me, saying he read one of my reviews and it inspired him to try the AMP that I wrote about, and another member from a city that has several AMPs that read my reviews of several of them and asked my opinion on each. I have also pm'ed a person in my hometown, the only other one from here that is a member, but he hasn't responded or written a review, yet.
I'd hate to see this site wither away, as it is an easy way to find out about AMPs, or EMPs, in other areas when you have to be somewhere for either work or "pleasure."

I commend you for putting in the miles to "meet" the ladies and 'welcome' them in your friendly way. I often drive up to an hour here for an AMP but then there are over 100 in that radius.. less than 40 miles away. I can not fathom driving an hour and a half let alone 2-2.5 hours to see someone. Keep it up as I know the ladies love you based on your reviews, etc.

"OTB"..."Road Trippin" has just gotten easier for me...I decided to retire right before Christmas...caught the boss by surprise!
I decided to retire early...nine years early...because things are changing in my field of endeavor...and I also was able to save up several years take home pay, just in caseI decided it was time to leave.
I'll be curious to see how long it will take for my pension(s) to kick in, and, yes, I did pay in to two separate pension plans, plus a 401(k) that I cannot touch for another nine months, or so...because of a 38% tax hit for early withdrawal!
That "early withdrawal" always seems to get us guys, doesn't it?

I was told that it might take one pension approx 4 months to get to me, and the other could take up to nine...because most of my soon-to-retire brothers and sisters give about a six months notice, and the paperwork runs much smoother then.
Whenever these pensions catch up to me I might have to take a little tour of America's AMPs...or just in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Missouri...and Pennsylvania., as I have to be in Philly early in the summer for a few weeks...I'll probably be racing up and down Race Street!

I also think in the MN forum.... Things get shut down once they are talked about in this state. So people are being very secretive.

Isn't that the truth...to many PC people in this state...Just let us enjoy our hobby...

I don't know... things get talked about often enough on The other Erotic board that does Reviews. Back in the "old country" there were a LOT of massage providers and lots of back channel talk about what was around. It just seems so lean around here I thought there might be a back channel discussion.
