Yeah, I know I'm being annoying for a reason since the one person insists that we cut back on our reviews. I think we should get back to the order of things after this holiday weekend when the fireworks clear. I know I'm going to be setting off a lot of displays this weekend at my favorite spot. There's going to be some stuff to talk about after this weekend. I can smell Kelly's and Tammy's fragrance now....sweetness.

Dear Pork Pie,
Even your "spa mom" has called for everyone to restrain themselves when publishing reviews since the heat has been on the spas recently. And she did that several times.
So no, it is not just one person crying out for common sense. It is several people including some well known spa managers in town.
It is possible to post information about what spas and providers are worth spending our spa dollars on without getting stupid about it.

First, why do you care what is going on in Warren, Ohio?
You are not from this area and don't realize how many times the various spas here have been closed since last summer.
The Warren PD, HD and City Council are coming down hard on our spa scene because of all the chirping from guys on the various websites. It got the community leaders stirred up because they get online , read the reviews and think they need to do something.
This subject has been on TV, radio and other forms of media a lot recently.
It is all really about politically motivated extortion against successful business in a very economically depressed area of our state.
There are still plenty of reviews being posted but some of the guys edit their posts and communicate by PM's with people they know are local regular spa customers.
It is not good that things are like this in Warren but it is reality.
These anti-spa people are not going away anytime soon.

I hear what you are saying and you make some good points. I frequent the spas in Warren, and not just the usual ones, but the other ones that are becoming more popular. We both want these places to stay open. I'm just not sure that posting on this web site has a big effect. The posts have already been made, and anyone with any sense knows what goes on in these spas. You have about 10 spas in Warren and the advertisement on Route 5 for the Sun Spa as you drive into Warren is seen by all residents who drive by. How can anyone living in Warren not see or not know what is going on?
In Ann Arbor, during it's peak in the mid 90s, we had about 7-8 spas in operation. After federal investigations and help from local authorities they were all shut down. This is before eroticmp, USASG, or any other websites existed. I understand your situation in Warren may be a little different. Before Ann Arbor, we also had about 10 spas operating in Waterford, MI. All shut down. Keep in mind many of these spas were in operation since the 70s.
So who knows what will happen in Warren. My first post, as Johnny Wadd, was actually in jest, sort of tongue in cheek. I really don't want guys to post all dirty details, as it sounds like bragging. I have only made three posts in total, and they have been generally modest.
So take it easy.

The same thing happens in every city!!! Spa Patrol and Jim Bob I would be on the same page as you guys if I thought it would make any difference. It doesn't and running around tell others the "sky is falling" doesn't help the ladies or this site. The ladies know exactly what they're getting into when they take the job. You are missing one fact.
We used to have lots of spas in Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown areas of NE Ohio.
All of those were shut down by local city governments and LE years ago.
None of those towns have an AMP/EMP scene now.
Ask any local guy on this forum and they will tell you the same things
No guarantee that the spas will reopen if they get shut down again.
The Warren city council is looking at ways to take away the license of spas with code violations. That would end a spa business right there.
The reviews on USASG and other websites were listed as a one of the reasons for all the attention on the spas in media reports.
Various community groups were getting upset about what was being posted online about the spas. They leaned on the city council and police to do something.
IMO, provoking these anti-spa elements in town with reviews that contain gross details is not the wisest idea at this time.
As soon as a lot of reviews start getting posted, the damn city council starts up with anti-spa meetings. Then everything gets quiet online for a while. It has been going on like this for over a year now.
BTW, I have no interest in forcing my position on others here as it would not be possible. Guys will post whatever they feel is appropriate.
But since I pay for a membership, I will continue to voice my opinion on this subject even if others might not agree.
All I want is for the spas to remain open for everyone to enjoy them.

LE doesnt JUST use reviews to get their intel. They have people who get busted for one thing or another and will trade info. They have buddies outside LE who will yap about their exploits to their friends at the bar forgetting Johnny LE is saving that nugget of info for later.

Your little reviews are not even the Best source of intel they have since it is all hersay and they cant even get a warrant on it, they need one of the above.
Are you seriously taking advice from the mamasans who can barely speak english and really do not have any idea of police operations? You can't go back and undo all the reviews that already tell the whole story about the spas in Warren. The cat is OUT of the bag, genie is out of the bottle, the dam has burst, what ever you like to call it. They already know. Stopping reviews now, serves no purpose.
Well, I knew this day would eventually arrive.
It was the day "the Rock" (supreme authority on all subjects related to spas) came to the Warren forum and ended the Spa Patrol.
So post up those reviews, dirty details and all.
Officer Kong will have to forge on without me as protector of the spas.
