So every time I've gone in to an establishment they always ask if I've been there before and I usually say yes even though I haven't. So I go into King Spa on Richmond and when the chick that greeted me asked I said no. After that it was awkward like she suspected me as an undercover popo. Is that just a coincidence or it more than just an ice breaker?

Same thing happened to me going to 'Asian Massage Therapy' down near Nasa. I was asked if I'd been there, and the place looked rather upscale (compared to most amps), so I didn't want her to throw a curveball and ask me questions about being there before, so this time I said no. She got all nervous and said she's the only one there and couldn't give me a massage right then, and told me to call back when the other lady is there tomorrow and gave me a card.

I have yet to call back, since it was kind of an impluse thing, but maybe I'll call next time, or just stop in again and see.

I've been going to amps for many years from coast-to-coast and even Amsterdam. They all ask the same question "Have you been here before". Always say yes.

Agree with Tony. Do your homework. Always say yes. If the're a well known, busy parlor, more than likely it'll be fine( with all the customers the provider sees, i'm sure she can't remember everybody). But if not, you need to look at the reviews of this parlor and use a name of a provider recently and take a chance. Or contact a reviewer, and in your email ask for his name(but be casual about it) and say that he recommended you. We all EMP clients must work together.
